Morning!
So! Today I came across the following excellent post by Ian McAllister entitled
Just for Fun: I’ve been tagged! OMG, what do I do now???
To wit:
… Being tagged is a game bloggers play where they have to write six random things about their self, and tag six other people.
In this case, I have been tagged by Sarah Arrow of Essex Courier, who was tagged in this chain by the UK’s leading internet marketing expert, Nikki Pilkington.
So here goes with things you may not know about me…MORE…
One of the neat things you can do with blog tagging is join in the games and start a new batch/offshoot of it. Keep reading to see my version!
So! Here I go. For the prior questions, 6 things you don’t know about me are:
- My pushup record for a single day is 400.
- My chinup record is, ummm, 4.
- I have lost 50 pounds from 12/2006 until now.
- 13 parakeets share my home office with me without any cage.
- I am known as Mean Mommy Ling to all my kids’ friends because I insist on respect and politeness and come down on obnoxious children, yet without fail, all of said kids’ friends gyrate to me whenever I visit the school.
- I am a seasoned practioner in aromatherapy and accupressure massage.
Now, for my tagging, I’d like to offer the following idea - life is never just work, it’s also….math! And calculus! And and and mixed martial arts!
What’s YOUR idea of fun online when you have a minute to yourself?
I’ll tag 6 folks to join as well!
My favorite places online include:
- Nicky 510 - Awesome humor and excellent morning insights delivered free.
- YouTube - You just cannot get any funnier than Self Defense and Fresh Fruit!
- Martial Arts Friends - Wonderful site to network in a friendly supportive atmosphere
- Kev Jumba - How can you NOT love videos like Girls are like M&Ms and the World NEEDS more interracial babies?
How ’bout you?
And who to tag…who to tag…lessee….I’ll tag:
- Crow - Cartoonist at Nicky510, the daily newsletter and commentary are a superb way to start the day!
- Bill Vick - When you look up the phrase "Recruiting Business Master", you’ll see "See Bill Vick."
- Maureen Sharib - Writer at The Recruiting Edge, she’s the definitive voice in the art of Telephone Sourcing.
- Jim Stroud - What this recruiter doesn’t know about Web 2.0 ain’t worth knowing!
- Cath Lawson - Brilliant business writer, I love how beautifully she expresses her ideas.
- Recruiting Animal - Very useful recruiter insights!
Hopefully the above 6 people will post their favorite places they visit for fun online when the stress factor zooms past infinity!
After all, the more we share….the more we learn. And that, of course, can only be described as a Very Good Thing indeed!
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling
