Morning!
This post is brief, pithy and to tht point. Notice that cute little stripe thingee at the top of my blog, the one that reads:
Click HERE to get the Edge in Internet Recruiting!
Get weekly recruiting goodies via the free RISE ezine!
Have you seen my FREE Recruiters Library? Click here!
Don’t forget to subscribe for free to our updates!
Or some other similar phrase?
Those links goes directly to my recruiting products, or my ezine, or my free recruiters library, or…… Those are some of the targeted destinations that I would like visitors to see.
This is a very neat, unobtrustive way of gently reminding visitors of what great resources you have! Think about it from a recruiter viewpoint – you could have a link that reads
Why choose me as your recruiter? Click here!
Check out our current jobs!
Have you seen our super free (industry) library yet? Click here!
Click HERE to sign up for our savvy career newsletter!
etc.etc.etc.
And the best news is, the basic version of this Wordpress plugin is free!
You can download it over at MaxStripePro.
It’s pretty nifty, actually – you can upgrade to the pro version that removes other ads (I did that myself; I prefer to focus readers solely upon my offerings) and change the content any time you’d like.
Thus, let’s say that your company will be showing at a job fair; you could include that information in your banner. Or if you have a free career ebook to offer your visitors – alert them to that as well!
The possibilities are unlimited; I’ve found it to be very helpful indeed with my own blogs.
Click HERE to download the free Wordpress plugin.
Enjoy,
