Today’s RISE post was inspired by Jim Stroud of The Recruiters Lounge.  And it’s this:

Are you a recruiter who’d like to find gainful recruiting employment?  Do you wish you had at your fingertips the key skills required to ferret out all those wonderful recruiter job opportunities….via (gasp!) boolean searches?

If so, yearn no more, for Jim has written (and I quote):

…Judging by the Tweets, Emails and casual conversations I receive, the economy still sucks, especially if you are an unemployed, under-employed or unhappily employed Recruiter. Not too long ago, I gave a few tips on how Recruiters can find hidden job opportunities during a recession. Well, here are a few more. I have created a series of search strings that you can use to find hidden opportunities using the Google search engine. They will also work on Live and Yahoo, so feel free to try your luck there as well. As a treat, I am going to share with you search strings that I created manually and those that were made with the use of an automated tool. First, the manual strings.

1) To find Recruiter jobs in general:

intitle:recruiter (intitle:job OR intitle:jobs OR intitle:careers) (apply OR submit OR eoe)

Are you seeking an entry-level Recruiter position?

One thing  to keep in mind – if you’re seriously looking for a position, having your own personal busines website available to showcase your skills will benefit you greatly.  Remember – one of the first things employers do when researching an individual is to check out their Social Networking resources and website resources….make certain your information causes you to stand out apart from the thundering herd.
