Morning!
If you’re a recruiter, chances are…you probably want to excel in this industry. Okay, true, I highly doubt that anyone will say, Jeepers Barb, I was shooting for mere plainess and incompetence!
But I digress.
One of the best ways to really catapult yourself above the thundering herd is to learn from the masters. And I’ve gathered a nifty list for you to do just that! Today’s post will center upon Twitter.
Now, you’ve heard of Twitter, I assume? It’s a neat microblogging platform that allows you to send messages of 140 characters or less. Believe it or not, it’s mushroomed into a HUUUUGGGGEEEE success online…and if you choose your followers wisely, you can be alerted to some pretty savvy recruiting goodness online.
Here are some of the masters of the recruiting industry I follow (and if you want to follow me, you can at Barbara Ling):
- Recruiting Animal
- Joel Cheezman
- Pam Claughton
- Gerry Crispin
- Paul DeBettignies
- Tim Esse
- Amitai Giverts
- Research Goddess
- David Manaster
- Dave Mendoza
- Steven Rothberg
- Shally
- Hank Stringer
- Jim Stroud
- Suzy Tonini
- Bill Vick
- Vincent Wright
There are other ways of finding Twitter recruiters too, of course. You can check out a great list over at Recruiting Blogs - it’s called: Follow Me On Twitter.
And a rather savvy individual named Steve Rubel created a nifty Twitter search engine over here. Check out the responses for
