Me, well, because school is starting next week, I gave myself permission to take off the day and drive 200+ miles with the family to the PA Rail Road Museum.  My gosh, "incredibly wow-like zowieness" (to quote Honorable Daughter II) doesn’t describe it at all – the locomotives from the 1800s are still just brimming with personality as they sit there like silent sentinels in the vast museum.   The history those iron beasties must have seen; it staggers the imagination.

But I digress. 

So!  I came home to discover that Bill Vick has put up an interview with Bill Radin.   Now, Bill Radin is one of my favorite recruiting trainers in the industry; long long ago, back before the earth’s crust cooled when I was unknown in the field, he reviewed my very first book, The Internet Recruiting Edge, even before it went to print…and gave me invaluable tips for book writing, editing, cover graphics, the marketing process and more. 

He was (and is!) super wellknown, I was a nobody…and he helped me out without expecting anything in return.

To this day, 11 years later, that has stood out in my mind (one of my trademarks is I never ever ever forget a good turn nor an ill wish).
